An
all
Affirming Congregation is
one that welcomes Gays into all of the life of the local
church, and is gay-friendly, and believes one CAN
be Christian and Gay at the same time, since God
created all peoples including Gays.
We accept all people, no matter where on life's journey they are
at the moment. If you are seeking for truth and knowledge, and seeking
for a closer walk with God, come visit and grow with us.
We believe in the transforming power of the Holy Spirit
of God working in our hearts, souls, bodies,
minds, and in our lives to be more like Jesus. But that
process does NOT change our sexual
orientation any more then it changes our skin color
or gender. These are some things God will never do, nor
have any reason to change.
There are some Affirming Congregations in most
denominations today. You have to go to their local church website
to find more info.
This is opposed to
churches that are Transforming Congregations, which
means one can NOT be Christian and Gay, but they
welcome Gays that are seeking to transform into a "Straight"
lifestyle. We believe that view to be an utter impossibility, sinful,
and also un-Biblical, and against ALL modern scientific intelligence and
information.
Most churches are neither, that is, they ignore gay people
of faith, or else boot them out from their membership
and churches (which is very sad and very un-Christ-like).

If God calls for your talent and you work well in the kitchen, then
this is your opportunity to join the team. This ministry is vital
for fellowshipping after services, and we need people on this team
who have skills with organizing pot lucks, keeping inventory of
items in the kitchen, and who can schedule groups to work with
both services on Sundays, or other events.

MINISTRY
The Hospitality Team would like to thank those
individuals who continuously give to this ministry. Without your
support this ministry would have ceased years ago. We are asking
anyone as they are out shopping that you keep this ministry on your
list. In order for this ministry to remain strong week after week,
we have to rely heavily on donations and gift-in-kinds!
We are asking those who are capable of making gift-in-kind donations

out with. Our fellowship after each service is a ministry
that we provide to help us get to know our brothers, sisters,
visitors, guests and first time attendees. Let's keep this ministry
strong and alive.
Another way to contribute is to make monetary donations as
well. There is a donation canister on the hospitality table, and
please remember to donate when receiving water or sodas from the
kitchen.
We need everyone to please do what you can in order to continue to
make this ministry grow.
It takes a lot to keep this ministry flourishing and we can continue
to do that with your assistance. Please feel free to talk to me, any
of the

team members, or our Board Liaison Tracy

Members of
the
Hospitality Team Ministry ask that you give
them some assistance. As we approach the summer months it
is going to be hot outside which means the church will do
its best to keep us cool inside, but we need your help!.
This ministry is needing donations of water and drinks to
have them available throughout the services and during
hospitality. If everyone could at least pick up a 20 pack of
water or 24 pack of drinks it will deeply help us out. Also
a reminder that if you get drinks out of the refrigerator,
please donate what you can so we can keep drinks replenish
at all times!. Also as a reminder there is a donation
canister on the fellowship/hospitality table, please
feel free to donate so that we can keep this ministry and
the time of fellowship and worship strong. As one we are
weak, but as many we are powerful!.
