Request for Volunteers

The Holiday Starlight Parade, Chattanooga's largest holiday parade, will take place on Saturday, December 3, 2005 at 6:00 PM. Chattanooga Downtown Partnership is seeking volunteers to help with this event.

We need individuals willing to handle the following responsibilities:
ð  man check-in tables
ð  hold tethers to large helium balloons
ð  wear costumes (must be fun and have lots of energy)
ð  act as parking lot attendants
ð  direct floats to parking lots at the end of the parade
ð  escort floats and hand out candy along the parade route

Volunteers will receive embroidered toboggans provided by Double Cola, the parade sponsor. Supplies are limited, so please let us know if you are interested in volunteering so we can reserve your complimentary toboggan and your place in the parade. Just call 265-0771.  < info@thecdp.org >
