Building Grounds Team Ministry

The Building Grounds Team Leader coordinates all activities relative to cleaning and maintenance of the building and grounds of The Rock MCC. They respond promptly to inquiries and concerns regarding the building and grounds of The Rock MCC. Offers assistance to other teams. Is flexible: copes successfully with a variety of situations and personalities. Recognizes and performs tasks which need to be performed, although not directly assigned. Is responsible for assessing work load demands and utilizing others to assure quality and completeness of work. Insures that tasks are scheduled according to priority. Reports to the Pastor and Board of Directors any delays, concerns or deviations of schedule. Coordinates restocking of supplies and maintenance of the church. Provides cleaning orientation to new team members to insure the task is understood. Notifies the Pastor or Board member of operation problems and complaints which require follow-up. Assures that the Church is cleaned on a weekly basis.

Church Cleaning Schedule

We want to remind everyone that the church is being cleaned on Saturdays, and if you come in during the week for a meeting or whatever, please pick up behind yourselves and leave the church the same way you find it in so no one will have go behind you to clean. It is all of our responsibility to keep God's house in order! Please see Jim Martin to sign up for cleaning and maintaining the yard as well.

We do recycle cans and plastic bottles; there is a plastics canister in the kitchen marked as "Plastic". If you come in and you fill the garbage can full, please take the trash out. We do not have a pest control contract anymore and we need to keep Minnie & Mickey, the spiders and other creepy crawling pest out of church. Remember if you mess up please clean up !
